Well, even though Halloween is good and gone, and everyone is going full speed ahead toward Thanksgiving, I just finished editing this awesome Halloween/Birthday party that I was fortunate to be a fly on the wall for. I had SO much fun shooting this thing! Event photography wasn't exactly 'on my resume' so to speak, but I had such a great time I would definitely do this again! I'll just hope that the party is as chalk-full of great (hilarious) people as this one was.
The couple hosting the party was KISS for Halloween (Mom was the birthday girl), and they looked completely awesome. And their little family took some quick pictures together before the kiddos went to bed and the party got started (*wink*wink*) I'll just let the pictures unfold... :-)
This cute little girl just LOVED the camera... she kept saying "how about this?" and posing for me! :-) And then I would tell her to act like a princess, and she'd do this (so great! :-):
The Birthday Girl in ALL her glory (don't her blue eyes look incredible?)...
aaand the later it got the more beverages that made it into the pictures :-)
I don't know what's going on here, but it's hilarious...
I thought this little cowgirl was just so darn cute... and you pirates are cute too :-)
A few of the party details around the house...
These last two are just plain hilarious. I don't know how I stopped laughing long enough to keep the camera from shaking.

A few of my favorite shots from a family session I did. The family wanted to concentrate the pictures on their newest addition, since they don't have any of him yet. But both kids were absolute dolls, it was hard to focus my attention! They just lit up the camera. Such a sweet little family... enjoy!

You know what I love about San Antonio? You can drive to a thriving downtown city with sky scrapers and taxi cabs while passing grazing cattle and barn yards along the way! It's fantastic (not to mention a photographer's dream). But this post isn't about that...
It's about my engaged couple! ;-)
When I got together with Rozette and Rafael a few weeks ago, they said they wanted to go for a more 'urban' look, so we took advantage of all San An has to offer and headed downtown!
They are getting married in Italy in March (super cool!) and so we made sure to incorporate that into the shoot somehow. And I just love so many shots from this session... I love how he looks at her (which I hardly had to tell him to do... he just did it, and it looks so absolutely adorable and 100% genuine!) and I love how many times they just started giggling with delight after I got them posed. SO darn cute. And Rozette brought her little sister along for the fun and she did some gorgeous sidewalk chalk art for us which we had a little bit of fun with.
Enjoy!
They seriously just laughed... at everything! I loved it! :-)
How great is this thought bubble?!?!
The sister's super cute art... (she's 12 ;-)
I think these next 2 are my favorite from the session (and when I started posing them, Rozette said these poses are Rafael's favorite... so I guess he and I are on the same wavelength ;-)
How cute is this guy? And Rozette is just gorgeous!
Ok maybe this is my favorite, check out the shameless grin on this guy. Awesome :-):
**thanks, you two love-birds, you!
