I LOVE it when I get to see previous clients again, because it means something special has happened in their life since I saw them last and they need it photographed! Michelle had me take some sassy-single-girl portraits of her and her sister a while back, and now Michelle is MARRIED and HAS A BABY! Loved every minute of visiting with her and sharing in adoring her new little arrival. Such a treat for me :-)

I had the opportunity to take on a different kind of project earlier this week. Ali of Sincerely, Sadie (facebook fan page HERE) asked me to photograph the product line for her new shop! We worked together on producing images that fit the vibe of her shop, so the final images had a sweet, creamy edit that was adorable... but sometimes I can't help but fall in love with the shot I get straight out of the camera. This family has been friends of my in-laws for quite a while, and I started hearing stories from my husband about them very early on. Their son and Zach (my husband) were really close growing up and the Dad was a great role model and leader in my husband's life as a teenager (along with his own Father, of course ;-). So... I was excited to meet ALL of them finally, as I had only seen them in bits and pieces since I married Zach. They are an amazing bunch... kind, funny, thoughtful, and as you'll see, extremely good looking! :-)

...little Sadie fell and scraped her knees :-( and because it was so cold and windy that day, she never really did recover from the fall, poor baby! But even her cry face is adorable and blog-worthy!

Sue's Father came along and jumped in a few shots... I LOVE the ones of him holding his grandbabies...
