I had the privilege of taking pictures for a friend of mine's new.new.newborn baby boy yesterday. I just couldn't believe how teeny tiney he was. Just 5 days! And just look at his little mouth when he sleeps! SO CUTE!

I have to just say, after doing a number of infant sessions, I always (and I mean always) leave the home just completely honored and humbled to be in the presence of such sweet little lives. There is a feeling in a home with a newborn of love, and warmth, and stillness that is just so wonderful to me. Everything is quiet and peaceful. It is such an incredible experience that I really do treasure. I am so glad that I can help the families capture and remember that amazing moment. It truly is an opportunity that I am SO privileged to have.


And without further adieu...

Just two of my absolute favorites from a session this weekend. This was right at sunrise and I couldn't have drawn up dreamier conditions! Bright greens from all the rain, light mist from the morning dew, warm sunrise... It almost felt too good to be true.

Isn't this tree incredible? And the sunburst? Really? My heart could hardly take it.
Oh, and the family pretty much rocked the whole thing.

This is my second session with these cuties and it just about melted my heart to pieces when they came running up to me with arms wide open to say hello! It was the highlight of my day. Actually, maybe the highlight of my day was when I uploaded these pictures and saw AGAIN how absolutely precious these kids are. I cannot wait for the newest addition to get here so I can get my hands on some more pictures!

These two were just cut out for being parents... They were surprised/blessed with TWINS and after spending time with them now I want twins. They made it look SO easy! And having a boy and a girl right off the bat really is the perfect way to do it ;-)

And can we just take a second and coo over the smiles on these kids! Absolutely precious. They were built for picture-taking ;-)

This little Army family and their new arrival were so sweet. It was such a pleasure being in their home and capturing this special time for them. Their new little boy is so loved and you can tell he already admires his Army Dad!

This was such a beautiful wedding! The entire event was centered around their family... not just the couple. I loved it! You could really sense how much they all loved each other. And the kids were a part of everything. The ceremony, the toast... everything! I loved the country vibe of the event, and how about the bride's smile?! LOVE it. She is radiant. And the groom is a fireman. So OF COURSE there was a fire truck. And of course I jumped all over that with my camera! :-) They even got to drive off in it!! (and the other firemen let me climb inside to photograph them going off... coolest thing ever.)
