You know what I love about San Antonio? You can drive to a thriving downtown city with sky scrapers and taxi cabs while passing grazing cattle and barn yards along the way! It's fantastic (not to mention a photographer's dream). But this post isn't about that...
It's about my engaged couple! ;-)

When I got together with Rozette and Rafael a few weeks ago, they said they wanted to go for a more 'urban' look, so we took advantage of all San An has to offer and headed downtown!

They are getting married in Italy in March (super cool!) and so we made sure to incorporate that into the shoot somehow. And I just love so many shots from this session... I love how he looks at her (which I hardly had to tell him to do... he just did it, and it looks so absolutely adorable and 100% genuine!) and I love how many times they just started giggling with delight after I got them posed. SO darn cute. And Rozette brought her little sister along for the fun and she did some gorgeous sidewalk chalk art for us which we had a little bit of fun with.

Enjoy!

I think these next 2 are my favorite from the session (and when I started posing them, Rozette said these poses are Rafael's favorite... so I guess he and I are on the same wavelength ;-)

How cute is this guy? And Rozette is just gorgeous!

So there's a first for everything right? Well, I did my FIRST humongous, hilarious, gorgeous family photo session! :-)

I've actually known one of these gals for a number of years now, and she is hysterical. One of those girls that everyone wants to know and talk to because she lights up the room. So when she contacted me about photographing her whole family who are all exactly like her I thought... I'm in!

I decided I'd start with one of the 'out-takes' because it really just sums the family up more than the formal ones do.

The boys' height differentials were a little too much for this shot, so they solved the problem for me:

My favorite (it's hard to say though...):

You should have heard the mass of parents behind me making alllll kinds of lovely noises to get these kids to smile! :-) The poor little baby girl in the front wasn't falling for it though... I love it.

I love this one too:

These 3 seriously threw down for their shots. Shy much? I think not.

I've said it before, I'll say it again... photographing infants is one of the special honors I am privileged to have as a photographer. This little session was no exception. I just loved so many things about this shoot! There are several images that I want to remember for when we have our own little ones' pictures to adorn our walls :-) And getting to know this fabulous lady (and her much accomplished life... a doctor, a talented athlete, and just had a beautiful, perfect little boy!) made it all one delightful day for me.

Just a quick snippet from the wedding I did last night. I took these before every one arrived. The stained glass windows and dim lighting made the chapel feel quite majestic. So I just had to share... ;-)
Now back to editing!!!!
